Planets and silly questions

Aug 25, 2006 12:13

Amongst all my astronomy books, I now only have one that accurately numbers the planets of this solar system. (It was written more than 120 years ago.)

And the silly question:
Why do ships transport cargo and land vehicles transport shipments?

Wikipedia was updated pretty quickly though...

And that astronomy book probably doesn't have as many pretty pictures as the modern ones. Actually maybe that's why Pluto has been demoted, it's just not photogenic enough.

Wikipedia is God.

As for the book? Well, they're pretty and they're pictures, not so much with the accurate and photographic.

I don't think Phobos and Deimos should really be moons. They're far too lumpy and random.

Possibly. Maybe mini-moons? The are other thoughts in my head centring on things like the Moon being made of cheese, but Phobos and Deimos are potato.
