Got through another Monday. Only six more of those then I go to Red Creek.

My plan for this weekend is to get as much work done as possible. I've gotten my weekly report done, did some data entry for my research project, read through a story for a friend... Today is more data entry. Maybe I'll start writing up my methods section... We'll see how ambitious I'm feeling when I get the data entry done.

Today I taught my first set of classes. It certainly got better as the day went on, I just need to work on my presence in front of the group of students. I'm good with them one-on-one.

I know I shouldn't have, but I bought myself two new pair of shoes today. They're chucks. A black pair and a navy pair, and I intend to wear them while I'm student teaching. I have come to the conclusion that there's no way to survive in the world with my skill set. I'm a writer who can teach well enough to get information into students' heads. Yesterday I wrote over 3000 words. I feel accomplished. Now I just need to keep working on it without taking another four day break. I've tossed a few words onto the page. Then added a few more. I might be working on an epiphany for the main character.
