so the accident...

Feb 15, 2005 23:31

here it is in pictures. i've been told a few times in the last few days that it's a miracle i lived. no seatbelts. pretty much head-on collision. probably about forty or fifty mph.

it's scary. that without a seatbelt i actually walked out of this.

this car wreck disaster teaches me so much... )

i'm really glad you're okay.
i wouldn't doubt for a second that jared was there with you.
cause he's always there when you think he is.

ps - i definitely agree with the person below me when they say...SEATBELT!

i'm sorry but it makes me really mad that when a close friend dies from a car crash people still not wear seatbelts and drive drunk and stuff (not saying that you drive drunk, but you know what i'm saying)....k???

oh no no no. i almost always wear it. ask anyone i know well. the fact is i was in gym shorts (no underwear) an xxl t-shirt and shoes with no socks. i was literally running up a few blocks to get milk and cream cheese. and i didn't even have my license or a wallet. i probably would have put the belt on anyways but this was a block and a half from my house... so i promise next time there will be a belt.

:( damn man. Your really fucking lucky, but I'm sure you've been hearing that alot. I assume there will be a seatbelt next time, maybe even put your seat up a little, eh? ;)

We definately have to chill before you almost die again. Fuck man.

Is that middle spider-web crack where you hit your head?

heh, sorry if what i said came off asshole-y, secretly im extremely upset. My uncle got killed by a drunk driver yada yada, only one who died, you know everyone has a story. It would just suck if I had a friend who died from more automotive retardation, on top of my uncle. Especially such an awesome friend, you are definately not on my wish list of people to die in car accidents.

i'm sorry to hear about your uncle. i guess we do all have our own stories and our own concerns as a result. i want you to know that it wasn't sheer retardation. i'm going to quote what i wrote back to my friend michelle, above. not that it's an excuse. but there's a reason. i usually wear my belt. most of my friends were like "wow what are the odds you weren't wearing it? you always wear it!"

not myspace pictures! i was just thinking people might want to see how i'm doing and instead of like having someone email the pic around or explain what happened and risk it getting blown out of proportion, here's the pictures. plus i had to take the car pictures for insurance purposes because they're sneaky bastards...

Dude, I'm not to start anything, I know the accident was realy bad as it is, but if the aorbag went off, I honestly don't think that your head hit the windshield. The airbag goes off right away. There wouldn't be a chance for your head to make it to the windshield. And on top of that, if your head hit it at ever 30mph, you'd have been thrown from the car.

Anyway, I know how it is to feel the way you must feel now. If you need to talk about anything, I'm hear for ya. I think I know a thing or two about near death experiances. Even excluding the Army shit. Anyway, I'll give ya a call after work tomorow. I hope you're feelin' a little better. Later bro.

no i'm good thanks for being there.

the doctor in the e.r. told me my head hit it. and that's probably why i blacked out. because i didn't have a belt on and i was going downhill. so as much as your opinion could be right. i think i'll go with the crack on my side of the window and the e.r. doc's idea.

see you soon.

Eh, it was just an idea. It makes since though, I think. If an accidnt investigater looks into it, I'd like to see what he says. Just for shits and giggles.

i heard you fucked a walrus once.

if not. it's cool too.

i'll let you know what the investigator says if there is one. in the meantime, i win. because i have more broken bones than you do.

that whole reply made no sense.

in my barely-able-to-type madness i was able to upload stuff (it's the easiest to do since it's very little typing) and i'm glad we got that ish up and running. i'll recover shortly. i'm truly truly lucky.
