While I broadly agree that this is a thoroughly needless and incestuous story whipped up by a media more interested in either reporting upon itself or determined to put the boot into what it believes to be a purveyor moral decline (delete as applicable depending upon whether you read the Guardian or the Mail); I have no problem with Brand or Ross being asked to resign or getting suspended.
The pair of them are an unfunny waste of airspace, and the money saved through getting rid of them (even if only for a little while Ross's case) can be well spent elsewhere.
More interesting to me would be to know more about the poorly-paid back-room staff who will be paying the price for this in the long run, as they have probably been pressured by the 'stars' into allowing this to go on air and will have no opportunity to defend themselves or use their celebrity status to defend themselves when the disciplinary hearings inevitable come running.

Daily mail ran the story and peopple complained.. they said sorry and sachs accepted it.
