I love how I'm the first person to comment on this - over an hour after it was posted - in light of the lj post directly before this one. ;)

I thought Aussie guys singing pop songs on top of "Don't Stop Believin'" would be perfect comment fodder, but, here we are.

As comment-worthy as that conversation topic might be, it's still not as cool (to us all) as one which lets us talk about ourselves and how important we are. ;)

Hahaha WIN

I love how the same Bush and U2 albums have songs in both videos.

When I was a kid I had Journey Escape for my Atari 2600, and to this day it is the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Journey mentioned anywhere.

This is an excellent video!

I have Journey Escape on an Atari emulator on my work computer. I am a productive member of society.

Brilliant! I'm totally going to have to swipe both the Journey video and the Pachabel rants and put them in an entry. I was going to add the 300/"It's Raining Men" portmanteau or the 300: rated PG videos, but apparently everyone has already seen those.

There are some other 300 parodies out there, too.

I'd like to think the video games in the background are a tribute to the original backstreet-boys-asian-kids video which was probably one of the first well-known internet videos, as opposed to flash animations, and prominently features a disinterested roomate playing video games. But maybe not. Funny either way.

Ah, yes, of course. That's entirely likely. The Backstreet Boys Asian Kids video was featured on the 10 minutes of VH-1's "Top 40 Internet Videos" show that I could stand watching before desiring to kill myself.
