[Shinji Matou had himself hidden while the Mayfield slaughterfest was going on, and now that it was over, he had a few things he wanted to check up on. However, the cowardly snake known as Shinji Matou found himself stalling for time at the comic book shop as he tried to figure out just how to get a hold of the two

[Even better, he's got a steel lance in his hand. While it's not the one Shinji would be very personally familiar with, there is still a heroic spirit with a lance walking around.]

[And he's not in the most cheerful of moods.]

[Heroic spirit + Lance = Oh shit. - Shinji Matou at that point found himself trying to stand up and casually avoid being stabbed being seen by the heroic spirit, but we all know Shinji has horrible luck. WHY IS LANCER'S FACE SO SCARY!?]

[Shinji freezes. Lancer saw him? Oh help him, but he isn't attacking, that was good, right? Shinji wasn't going to be killed by Lancer? Oh happy day!]

[And he trips on them, landing headfirst on the ground, but his feet are still on those thigh highs, and he probably tore them slightly, just because of his luck!]

[Oh, he knew that voice. He knew it all too well as he slowly turned his head toward her. He had a deer caught in the headlights look.]

A-Ah! Tohsaka! I'm sorry, I didn't...!

[The scream of a chainsword can be heard, as one of the aforementioned white knights works through blade forms sans his helm in the park. The entire effect is chilling, as Garviel wields a blade that is large, bulky and juddering with chainsaw teeth like a rapier.]

[What the hell is that?! Shinji looks around and just blankly stares at the man. Why are all of Rin's 'white knights' so damn scary to Shinji?! And what the hell is he holding!?]

[And the circle of staring in horror at the giant weapon continues, but at least right now he chooses to approach slowly. He was curious, after all.]

[ Madoka was just wandering around pointlessly when she heard someone humming. Since she hasn't heard that tune before, as far as she knew, Madoka felt obligated to stop and listen. Maybe it's a song she knows but is just too forgetful to remember?

So she's standing there, watching him hum ]

[ There is a brief moment where Madoka is staring back, before she flinches and adverts her gaze. ]

[Blinking a couple times now. So that's why. He can try to be nice to this stranger. The headache and annoyed feeling was small, so he wasn't too worried.]

Oh, that's fine. I think. I can say I've probably done weirder in my life.

[Shinji nods his head as well. In his world, he and Emiya are friends at least, and although they had their issues; they still ended up getting along, but he noticed the flat tone and just stared at him with a smirk. It's been a hell of a day.]

[This was Shirou, the same one he saw before, right? He could kind of trust him, right? Well, maybe not. Best thing he could do was to give a smirk and shrug.]
