Terra Nova
Well, I saw the first episode of Terra Nova. The dinosaurs are up to Jurassic Park standards. The plot is Speilburg meets Ozy & Harriot. I'll try to avoid spoilers, but here's the basics.

Quick Update to What A Day
When last we left... um... me, I was having trouble with the plumbing and my printer had failed. The shower has more-or-less behaved itself since then and I found out what was wrong with the printer.
My problem as such is that I'm using Linux and HP is the only printer company that really supports it. That's not a big deal, since I have an HP ( Read more... ) -
Oy! What a day!
It started last night as I was talking to a friend until all hours. I kind of had to, he has no one else to talk to. He kept me up until about three in the morning; I kept myself up longer looking at stuff I couldn't concentrate on while chatting. It was after five when I got to bed, but I couldn't sleep at first.

It Costs Too Much!
I did some research yesterday. I thought you all might like to know what I found.
Yesterday, (Friday, April 15th), gasoline cost $1.34.9 per liter in and around Toronto, (probably similar in other parts of the country.) To put some perspective on that, I was around when Canada went Metric in 1976, just as gas reached $0.99 per imperial gallon.
