kaarlo just came back from finland. it's nice to see him again. i'm glad he's rested and more content than when he left london a month ago

yes it is quite the dilemma. i have the marimekko catalogue. i'll show it to you tonight.
the primavera green is nicer than the orange. it was hard finding the photos to post. but thanks to japanese people having impeccable taste, i made do.
one of my BFFs is finnish. she brings me these huge delectably delicious bars of finnish chocolate and other assorted candies every time she visits. they have some damn good products there.
i like the second apron meself. orange and green always remind me of pumpkins and halloween.
you're lucky! my best friend from high school was finnish and her house was full of these beautiful ittalia vases. and it was from her that i learned about marimekko. she threw up on her marimekko bag at a pavement show.
what does your vespa look like and how did you come to acquire one? i would love to have a scooter. i think i'm at a point where having a car would be too much responsibility and i walk and ride the bus a lot but having a scooter to go get groceries would be amazing!
hey all my peoples have (according to mainstream media representations) are those pointy hats.
The primavera is defiantly a classic, I recognized the pattern when you posted the pic before even though I wasn't familiar with the company.... then again the unikko is really nice too since sometimes you don't really want the signature item of a line, you never know when Target will do a mock design of the classic for $14.99... which to be totally honest is probably the one I'd end up buying since I'm a thrifty domestic ;)
Of course the orange would match that kitchenAid toaster!
strike that... reverse it. I switched the names of the Primavera and the Unikko... which I will hereby refer to as "orange dandylions" "and pink poppies"
we don't have target here! i've always wanted to go though - i remember when conan o'brien first started out, he had sarah jessica parker on and she was going on and on about how much she loves target.
i'm a thrifty domestic too but sometimes, you gotta splurge. aprons, in general, are really expensive. i'm always looking for thrift store ones but haven't come across too many. i think i might buy a few patterns from butterick or mccalls and make them because they have some nice vintage apron patterns.
maybe when i go to visit you, we can go to target. warren and i saw some a news bit on a new exhibit at the museum of african american history (in detroit) that we want to go see on some weekend. he suggested that could be a time when we all meet up.
going to target sounds even more exciting (sadly).

the apron is only $50 CDN. i'm not buying it just yet. i'm going to think about it and save up for the next few weeks.

And what is it about the Japanese being so stylish? What do my people have, just clothes made out of trees...

i don't think i would want a scooter in a city bigger than london. toronto seems dangerous in my mind (when i'm imagining driving a scooter).
