you are right about #1 being cute (and whimsical) and #2 being sexy. i think the olive mixer has a distinctive masculine quality. but the lemongrass mixer matches my stuff more. i guess we'll have to see what my aunt gets ultimately. i think we have different tastes so i'll be interesting. i sent her some photos of wedding dresses that have caught my eye and she wrote back saying one of them looks "whory". thanks.

ahhhhh the registry...... you are a very lucky girl.

Both are fab, I think I like the top one better though since I like a bright kitchen.
