Tim Harrington (of Les Savy Fav) and his painter-wife Ann have a homewares design company called Deadly Squire. They make oven mitts! Amazing!

I just saw that on design*sponge too!! I bet if we had Les Savy Fav on our cooking show they'd give us the mitts for free ;)

when i dreamed up the idea of an indie rock cooking show featuring you and me, our first guests were les savy fav! but alas, they've broken up.

it would be amazing if deadly squire came out with an apron. my marimekko apron hasn't come in yet and i ordered it in october. fuck!

i think i'll cave and make my own.

it's tonight...around 7:30. perry monaco is doing a fundraiser in honour of kaarlo - will be quite a big dealie for the diabetes assoc., it's $20/person which is a bit prohibitive, but we would make an amazing quiz bowl team.
