Among my open guilty pleasures (I keep the others secret) is my absolute adoration for Torchwood.
And where is it?
Why can't I see Captain Jack snogging Ianto? That is the great, unusual gay love affair of television...and I can't find it anymore.
All right, I've substituted the recent season of Dr. Who for it -- for now. And while I enjoy Dr. Who, it

I also love House, and Lost. For comedy, The Office and Earl. Guilty pleasure and most dumbass 40 mins of my life goes to Days of Our Lives, but only because I've been hooked for almost 30 years watching with my Nan and then Mom every day growing up, and I know all the stories.
Other than that, I end up watching actual kid shows like In the Night Garden. And seriously, what are they smoking when they make that show? LOL! The kids LOVE it, so we end up reuniting with IgglePiggle and Upsie Daisy every night. :P

Thanks for the recommendations. Although I can't bring myself to watch Days of Our Lives...but I watched soaps when I was in college. Not sure why. Might've been a way to forget about classes for an hour a day!
I keep meaning to catch up with House.
Night Garden? What's that? Is it early in the day? I love the title.

It's on the kids' Treehouse network at 7:30pm up here, closing in on bedtime for most kids. It's trippy, but the kdis are mezmerized by the slow and predictable characters/action.
Days should not be watched by intelligent human beings, yet... I can't help it.
One of my fascinations with House is how they deal with his chronic pain. That, and my love of all things medical and doctor oriented. Since I've lost track of ER and Chicago Hope is gone, this medically accurate show (with interesting drama) kicks the Grey's Anatomy ass all over the place. :)

I have to admit, I've always found some children's program either enchanting or terrifying, depending. I include Teletubbies in that description.
Thanks for the rec of House -- I'll start watching it a bit and see how it goes. I used to watch ER a lot, but somehow lost the thread of it a few seasons back. I didn't even realize it was still on.

I've been watching Being Human on BBC3 which isn't a kids show at all, Vampire, Werewolf and a Ghost sharing a house, which they could have played for laughs, but they have done quite dark and edgy. Worth seeking out through surfthechannel.com or other places.

I need to go check out the trailer and information -- I was on the site for a few seconds, but couldn't immediately figure out when they'd re-launch the show here.
Being Human? Not sure if it's on our one BBC channel. I'll go through the schedule and see if it's one, but I suspect we don't get it yet.
I'll check out surfthechannel.com -- which I've never heard of before.
Thank you so much -

Those are the only real drama's that I watch. Most everything else is news related (like the Daily Show ;) ) or shows on the History channel's of Science Channel. Rarely watch the Sci-Fi produced shows because the usually seem to be poorly done. My wife loves Heros and has been watching Damages and Leverage, but I haven't really gotten into them.
