I wonder what you think about people who waste themselves?

there are so many ways to waste yourself. you can waste your life with sloth. you can waste your life with gluttony, hedonism, or anything else that drives us towards death. i think the only people who waste themselves are the ones that do as much or as little as to bring upon death rather than defy it.

I mean more literally. Basically people who take their own lives. That's what the poem is insinuating, right?

on the way to work today i realized that must have been what you took from it. the point of the poem aims more at the ruination of fate rather than the ruination of one's self. the strings and music are respresentative of the beaten path; the preposed destiny set into motion by those who would simply have us all fall in line. the mechanation of the rules, social norms, and expectations put forth that hold us back from true experience.
rebirth through destruction of everything that blinds us from the truth.
