It's hard being an artistically inclined, self-professed academic :P Your brain being in overdrive is better than any day of having it dumbed down and neglected. Like mine at work.

i just need a balance. i'm too much in my head because i don't have close connections here. though it has happened that too much close connections make me crazy too.
what do you work as exactly?

I'm interning with the Budget+Strategic Planning division, so i do research on how much budget is allocated to certain operations in other agencies and compare them with our own... uhm, try to reconcile figures that should be the same and aren't. Thrilling.

A balance between close connections and brainfood eh. Sounds like a tricky one. (Am currently going through a drought of close connections... university seriously can't come soon enough)
