Well JF likes to torture us and we all love to take it. Would like to see things sped up a bit so that they can have lots of sex and babies and open their little hotel. But wait we shall. Thanks for reading :)

Yay, I was so excited to see this! I was instantly intrigued by the title, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! I love the idea of Anna keeping the telegram on her and constantly re-reading it - that's definitely something she would do. I was grinning like an idiot when John entered the room, and I loved the little bit of banter between the two. But you're right - Anna definitely wouldn't be able to keep it up if her husband had just been returned to her.

And the ending really is so lovely. I absolutely adore the idea of her no longer needing the telegram because now she has her husband back in her life. It was a great sentiment to end on.

Oh, good for Anna! To heck with games, they've had enough torment. This is lovely.
Perhaps Matthew picked up a few tips on intimidating stubborn officials from the Dowager Countess? I like that Matthew and Robert are both in on this. It's nice to see everyone rallying around to help Anna and Bates.
