well.  so maybe i'll take the summer to go to the gym and get fit and maybe take some dance classes instead.

now, off to see some apartments for september. 

the world cup started 5 days ago, and i've watched pretty much every game so far.  that should probably stop soon, as i still have thesis work to do and todd and i need to find an apartment for next fall.  but it's so much fun to watch!  and i figure, it's kind of like the olympics...it happens so rarely that it really does deserve my undivided ( Read more... )

it's been pretty relaxed for me in the past couple of weeks.  i haven't done a lick of work (well, except for the part where i took a final and wrote a 12 page paper...) and i even spent all of yesterday in my pj's.  hadn't done that in forever, so it was nice.  now that i've recuperated, though, it seems like time for an update.  so let's see how ( Read more... )

So my thesis review happened on Friday (thanks for coming, Teesa!) and it's definitely nice to have that over and done with. I still do have a summer's worth of research ahead of me, but it's different and usually a bit less stressful, and consequently, a little less daunting.
