we have to battle through our moods into absolute devotion to the Lord Jesus, to get out of the hole-and-corner business of our experience into abandoned devotion to Him. ... think of what faith in Jesus Christ claims -- that He can present us faultless before the throne of God, unutterably

thank you so much for all these journal entries, cassi. i'm so sorry that they come from such profound suffering but your attitude about it is beautiful and i'm so proud of you. i promise to be there for you more now, i'm making a comeback. let's start up those long emails again.
i love how dramatic we are sometimes! but we should be dramatic, i mean how can we not be about GOD, a God who has flipped our worlds upside down by just loving us and making us think more deeply of Him.. just that flips my world upside down.

God is just teaching me so much, i can't help but share it. it's true, how can we NOT be dramatic about God? how can we reduce Him to such an ordinary thing? because He is so much more than that.

i am all in favor of the long emails :) AND i'm excited to spend thanksgiving with you.
