The Party October 6th Post
The Big Birthday Bash
This is the "official" information post for the October 6th B-Day Bash at the home of dr_nebula. Not only will this be my 50th natal day celebration (damn - a half century old!!), but also for several other LJ notables including eaterofgodz, laughingpain and x_taters_x. So come and party with 'the doc' and his fellow natal dayers.
When? - October 6th, ~ 5 PM (if you want to BBQ) or ~ 7 PM for the "official start". Party until the sunrise or the doc passes out..(not very likely)
Where? - at the doctor's place:

This is easy to find via MapQuest, but directions will be provided if request.
What to bring?
I will be providing the location, plus at least case of decent beer and a variety of snack food/soft drinks.
What is needed: (similar to the Memorial Day Festivities)
- meat and goodies for the barbie
- side dishes, desserts and snack stuff
- unless you drink beer - this is BYOB unless a miracle 'happens' and the traveling bar shows up
- b-day cake and other party goodies
- implements of eating destruction: plates/cups/eating utensils/paper towels
- shit to BLOW UP!
**folding chairs - esp. if you wish to hang out under the carport.
The bugs have been very sparse most of the year, but bring spray if there is a population revival.
If the Skies are Clear - the observatory will be OPEN for viewing of the SHINY.
