On Vox: Everything is turning up Milhouse
Talked to another professor today. Apparently he, the lab I visited previously, and the lab I was planning on visiting all work somewhat closely together so he suggested I do rotations ( if the other professors agree ). Jackpot!
I start work tomorrow.

Sanity restored as well. Since I already formatted my computer once today I'll just format again and finally install Ubuntu. I'm tempted to find a scrap box on craigslist and turn it into a server, but it's not worth the money and effort to drag a tower up this damn hill. I can dream though!

Met with a professor yesterday who actually sought me out to be in his lab, a nice change of pace! His research focuses on understanding how the eye, neck, and head work together to follow a target. This falls more to the experimental neuroscience vs. engineering side of things, but from what I've seen of his lab there is still a lot of ( Read more... ) -
