On Vox: Buzzkill
TL, DR: I tried a lot commuter bikes and most of them sucked. Surpirse!
I spent most of Wednesday hauling ass around the city and looking at bikes. The Trek store had a Soho 3.0 which looked promising on paper but the longer wheel base makes it a really Vanilla ride. In 30 years maybe I'll get one, or the hover bike equivalent (which I'm sure will ( Read more... ) -
On Vox: Pittsburgh: The Place Promised When We Were Young
The move to Pittsburgh went well. In the end I packed way too many pillows and clothes and had to lash my bike to the roof of my car but nothing got damaged or lost. Despite my best efforts I had to leave my Bari and Winter Clothes in Norwell, but I should get them over Thanksgiving.

After yesterday's good news it's damn near impossible for me to focus at work. I took an hour of personal time to appreciate the weather, which I imagine will be a trend over the final 2 1/2 weeks.
