I did.  His name is Tinker.  As in tinker around the garage, where he lives...or as in (S)tinker-kitty, which is what we usually call him.  He doesn't really smell bad at all.  So that's good.  Tim & are both allergic, but we still give (S)tink-butt a little scritch here and there.

We are very disappointed to report that our son's Baby Tad (a recent gift from a relative) is no longer working, even with care and gentle use of the "six minutes 'til bedtime" button.

When it started "stuttering" we tried to replace the batteries, ensuring that the battery connectors were clean, to no avail. It makes a disturbing screeching noise ( Read more... )

This week, I worked a lot (A LOT) and ate whatever wasn’t nailed down. I got really frustrated with myself for not logging my food (who wants to log four donuts or a #9 with a Coke from McDonald’s?), not exercising a bit, and not writing an entry in my el-jay.

I'm up to my ass in alligators.

Snarling, snapping, beady-eyed, pea-brained, leather-y, vicious alligators.
And the only thing cool about this image is that (in *my* mind), I'm wearing a pith helmet, which I'm quite sure would be fetching on me.

I happy with life, but I am dragging ass this morning.
Seriously, as I walked downstairs this morning, I'm quite sure my ass stretched out behind me like a cathedral-length wedding gown train.  I think I saw a couple of (too) small pieces falling off my ass on the way down.  Great, more to clean today.
