I went to Knox with Finn while Lynt went off to organise a gift for Finn... Knox was *hideous*. Finn nagged me the whole time about everything he wanted, needed, should get, should have got, better get, until I almost cried. And the light's weird today. If I still got full-on migraines, I'd have one. As it is, I've got a headache and sore eyes.

i'm at athens airport, waiting to fly to crete. holding raphie with one hand. i love athens - so vibrant. raphie is a big hit with everyone. lovely - but so hard with bub.

I walked around the lake this afternoon. Such a dreamy, sunny afternoon. Back in the van, waiting for Lynt and Finny to return from the bike trails, Raphie thought she'd play a bit of dress-ups.

Mmm, it's twilight and hot and sultry and the cicadas are out there. Late thunderstorms are forecast. And the dilemma is, do I let the forest smells and eventually the storm and rain smells drift in, or do I burn my 'rainforest' incense? The house is stinky. Maybe I need a bit of both.

I walked, this morning - did the 6km walk around the lake. Raphie slept like an angel all the way. And it felt good to be doing some exercise. But it was just so hot and dry. I may have to switch to the treadmill when it's hot, I think. Just hate dry heat. Makes me itchy and sneezy and irritable ( Read more... )
