This is the funniest medical statement I've ever heard.  Today in class our professor said this:

Dr. Ranganathan:  "On Friday night, when I'm out at the club and my head is bouncing all around while I'm dancing, my Optokinetic Reflex still lets me foveate my girl."

It set the whole class giggling, even more than our anatomy lectures about the pelvis.

I went on another Shadowfax Cruise today.  This one was more awesome than the last for several reasons.  First of all, for the snorkeling, we stopped at an actual coral reef.  A littel background: the Shadowfax is the name of a catamaran that does private cruises around Grenada, and each cruise has a specific program.  You sail out and go ( Read more... )

So, I'm in Grenada.  The trip here was fine except that the airline people took $160 for my extra weight luggage.  Plus, the cab driver was suprised that all of my bags made it.  This is not a good sign for LIAT.  The only plus was that the barbados airport was neat.  http://www.flickr ( Read more... )

I got a 36 on my MCAT!!!!! That's the 96.3-97.6'th percentile. It's like getting a 1500 on the (old) SAT, or way better than Chris did on the LSAT. I'm so excited!!!!!

I'm pissed because I lost out on an entire 4 day weekend studying for an exam. I decided not to go to New York and visit my cousins, instead spending the weekend reading the hundreds of pages of articles and the Code of Federal Regulations "OfficiallyMore Boring than Watching Paint Dry".
