It's not uncommon for people to squirm uncomfortably when Magnus announces her bi-annual physicals. To them, the inoculations are atrocious and as Will says, her stethoscope is always too cold. She doesn't understand any of it, but for once when Magnus is announcing a physical, it won't have to do with needles or thermometers that naturally aren't

The light rapping against the door brings James out of his reverie, and he looks up from his notes, muttering a quiet 'come in' before realizing who it is begging entrance.

"Helen," he beams as her voice greets his ears. A highly welcome sound since he's been closed off from the Sanctuary for a good while. He's still toying with his new-found abilities, and has opted not to subject any of the tenants of Helen's facility to any...mishaps that might occur. James stands and crosses the room, touching her elbow lightly as he places a kiss of greeting on her cheek. "How are you, my dear?"

"Lovely. Yourself?" She kisses his cheek and beams, clipboard in hand.

"I am quite well, in fact," he replies, giving her a lopsided grin, then glances down to her clipboard. He quirks an eyebrow and gives her a slight tilt of his head. "But I can see that you haven't stopped by just to engage in small talk..."

"Well, you know me, always keeping busy." She smiles. "But that doesn't make this visit any less enjoyable." Pausing, she nods towards her clipboard, a glint in her eye. "I do know you love challenges..."
