Well there were several good answers, so I broke it done into "G" and "PG13" categories. silme won the 'g' rated caption, while rick_day won the most strange/perverse caption. The tire galaxy reminds me of the spinning tire monster in the SNES game Kirby's Adventure :)

That last cluster is impressive. The spiral at lower right is gorgeous; LOT of hot blue stars in that galaxy. A pretty impressive dust band around the one at mid-left, too.

I gotta say, though ... you seem to be getting better contrast than Hap. His image is a little washed out compared to yours. Is that your modified camera at work?

No, its the amount/type of processing I often do. I try for maximum contrast and black skies - though, it can cost me some detail and faint outer nebulosity,
