New Pets at Mars House!

On Sunday, Mars House acquired several new pets. An old friend of mine was thinning his collection of spiders + snakes, and in the process I acquired a couple pretty Chilean Rose Hair tarantulas (male and female), while pixelmonster inherited a 2 year old rosy boa

Birds are really aggressive with me. I've been bitten by everyone's pet bird that never bites, chased by robins, stalked by a hotel swan, swooped at by Mississippi kites, and menaced by hummingbirds.

Wild Boar... I have been chased up trees and once off a cliff by a charging boar.

The "arachnid reaction" is well documented, and I'm not immune to it. I'm wary of large spiders, of certain species of wasps such as yellow-jackets which are frequently aggressive without provocation, and I imagine I would be very wary of a scorpion should I encounter one. Can't say anything else really engenders more than due and appropriate caution in me.

That said, dangerous spiders (so far, personally encountered dangerous spiders are limited to black widows) get terminated with extreme prejudice on sight.
