So, I finished medical school last week.. Well, my application for residency went out the beginning of last month.. so far I've heard back from 4 programs in detroit, 2 in outside detroit michigan area, 2 in West Virginia (who hoo), 2 in NYC, 1 in New york state, 1 in Florida, and one in Mobile, Alabama.

After literally about 50 failed attempts, I have finally managed to get some sort of handle on wake boarding. Nikole captured this on video for me. I'll never be good at this kind of stuff, but it's fun anyways..

After long reflection and turmoil within myself, I came to the conclusion that OB/GYN really is what I've enjoyed most. Several factors came into play here that I did not anticipate. Two days ago I took off for Chicago to take my step 2 clinical skills exam. I have been freaking out over this exam, practicing with Nikole as my patient for the past week.

Now OB/GYN is over.. taking my exam tommorow. Unfortunately, I really didn't hate being in OB. Now I'm having issues over what I want to be when I grow up. Well, more like what side of the curtain I want to be on. Today I'm leaning toward the bloody side. Would anything think I was weird if I became a gynecologist? Stupid life choices.
