Such a moving and poignant story! The love Draco had for Asteria is very subtly intertwined in the actions, symbolism (dress) and thoughts you wrote. And impressively creative, the way you used the art prompt to be a painting Asteria did.

leochi, this was my favorite of all the Phase 1 art. I love watercolors, and the field of flowers of a wonderful backdrop for father and son. It's a beautiful work and I'm happy you shared it with us.

I just had to blink away tears to write this comment...

This was absolutely beautiful. I have never read Draco/Asteria before, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. I really have no words to describe how this fic affected me. It touched me personally, having dealt with grief of losing someone close to me as well; it was not only evocative, but it was so perfectly written. I love it and it complimented the picture(which is gorgeous btw leochi)wonderfully.
