The kids are out of school and so far actually getting along.  Bug has been promoted to the 4th grade Mike to the 3rd.!  I am so proud of them!!  I have been informed by my daughter that everyday I am off we have to go swimming in the pool.  They know they can't get in when I am at work. I had a great time in Florida with my sister.  The kids really had a blast at the Mardi Gras.  Took Courtney for ever to understand that  if she wanted beads or anything that she had to actually yell and jump around.  Mike was all on it though.  As soon as the first float came by he was yelling and jumping around like a wild man.  It was so nice ( Read more... )

I decided that I have not seen my sister in a year and my life is hectic so I was leaving town for a long weekend.  I left Friday and drove through a mild snow storm (which was really bad for me I live in south Alabama).  I drove through snow for about 100 miles before I got out of it and into FL.  I was never so happy to see the FL state line...
