Been a while since my last post, so much has changed! The girls are off finishing their first and second years of college, and the boy has started high school! The house is much quieter now, even though they are temporarily home for Jaunuary break. Woke this morning to 1 inch of snow on the ground. Amazing what a little snow does to make everything look fresh and clean! The weather forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is calling for 6-10 inches more by Wednesday evening. They are also calling for blowing winds, it should be a great storm!

When it rains, it pours...

My elderly uncle passed away late yesterday afternoon. It is such a different feeling than losing a young friend. My uncle in his youth was outgoing and gregarious, very type "A", a true leader in the community. He was very social and excelled in his personal life and in his business life.
