This *was* fun, but I ask everyone to consider--Why does Jonathan get the final word, and the (implied) control over the text?! Why not Mina? She did most of the work, dagnabbit!

I think it's fair; it began with him, and it ends with him. If not for Jonathan's little jaunt to Transylvania, none of this would have happened, so it makes sense, for closure purposes, to finish with him. Stoker shows Mina's importance by having her write up Dracula's death, and by finishing on words about her.
