I really liked it. It was not sentimental about its characters. Nice to see for a change.

I liked the succinct review someone offered to a friend of mine: "It's a cautionary tale: You have sex with a girl, then don't call her, in two weeks you get a monster."

So true, but thankfully the monster usually just drinks chardonnay and sends you angry, drunken emails instead of demolishing Manhattan.
