Memorial Day weekend and the cookout that never was.
Sunday I saw X3 with mom, stepdad, sister, SchoolFriend, and sister's friends. Meanwhile, at SuburbCowgirl's house, there was a cookout going on that I was supposed to be at (I had RSVPed via evite and said that I would bring hamburger buns). Checked email after two day hiatus (last time I checked it was Thursday morning). Got "Sorry you suck" email about one of the jobs I had applied for. Got "When can you come in for an interview?" for another job I applied for. Yer mom....well, my mom anyways
Ahhhhhh...celebrated Mother's Day with mom and sister by going to GasStationBBQJoint. Oh my garsh, it was SO freakin' good. There was much meat and beans and BBQ sauce with lots of black pepper in it. Resumes and hokey letters of interest
Am in IT lab right now. I have been here every night this week (so far) until they kicked me out at 10pm. I REALLY don't want to be here. Want to be out, enjoying the FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL DAY OUTSIDE!!! I have one resume left, plus the letter of interest to modify for another job and then that is it. Pray for a new jobbity job. More pay and ( Read more... ) -
Last (and onliest) final yesterday
Well, the last final of this semester anyhow. It was a lot...different (harder? weirder?) than I was expecting it to be. Some of the other people in my class were commiserating over how hard it was. I had my presentation in my forgery class this morning. My groupmate and I brought in breakfast hoping that people would be smacking loudly and therefore not hear the inherent crappiness in the presentation. I am not sure if it worked or not.
