I have no idea who reads LJ anymore. In fact, I have no idea who still reads MY LJ, seeing as my posts have become so few and far between that you could probably count how many times Haley's comet has come around between journal updates. Facebook really has taken over the landscape of digital contact, but the updates are small and you usually need ( Read more... )

I still read! *hugs* And I miss you, too. And I still love LJ for longer stuff too. Lots of loves from Lansing!

I read! I totally feel you on the FB vs. LJ thing. I love writing longer entries but just can't be bothered these days.

Also, I miss you. I don't think I've seen you since I was using a cane. When are you coming back to Lansing?

*hugs* I still read, and mean to post and every once in a while actually go through with it and post! I really don't like FB, but it is awfully convenient.

And even if I did like other things about FB, for substantial length posts like this, I like reading them on LJ so much better than FB.

We miss you, too, not that we saw you that much while you were here! But you aren't that far away, so you can come to big events like the Halloween party whenever that gets sorted, right?

"I miss writing in long paragraph form. I miss having the energy to do it."

I'm totally in the same boat. But I'm trying. I greatly prefer LJ to Facebook for anything of substance, and definitely anything very personal. FB is convenient, but LJ still has my love. And I'm still reading. Post away! :)

I check LJ at least a few times a week even though I don't post much either. I love seeing the longer posts and when I have something more personal (aka, none of my families business usually lol) or substantial to say I say it here. FB is great for keeping up with family in other states and so they can keep up with what's going on with Peyton and I but I love my LJ, even if I don't use it as much.

Congrats on getting into Western! I hadn't heard about that yet. I am sure you will do great there. You ought to check out the fliers and such around campus there, see if there are any comedy groups or other groups that would catch your interest and give you an outlet for those things you are missing.

~hugs~ Of course the only solution to the people you're missing...is to come visit us! :D You going to be out to D&L's for Mabon?
