When I made my test shirt - it was exactly that, to see how it would actually fit.
So when I put it on the first time, I already realized that I needed to size it up - particularly since I was working with fabric that was 7$ a yard. I buy cheapo fabric for muslins/test ones, then work up to using the expensive stuff. For a good reason.

So, for the first time in a long time I got my sewjo back, and so I went a little bonkers, bought some patterns, printed them out and made or reno'd two shirts. So, I joined a belly dancing class.
And did what I do, by immersing myself in the pretty - the costumes and the jewels.
But in digging around you get to find out other people's thoughts - like the ones that involve whities appropriating something and making it something different, and making the original look wrong.

Got a little sick last week, courtesy of my beautiful girl who likes getting croup. Thank goodness it seems to be on the very down swing, so that makes me feel better, pun intended.

So, I hae watched the Last Jedi a lot. And read the novelization at least twice. I feel generally prepared to write some thoughts on things that make people go 'wah'.

Bad
It's been a while since I've felt this out of control. I have a meeting tonight, so I get to get out of the house and away from everything. But part of me, if I'm really honest, a large part of me, doesn't want to come home. Part of me just wants to drive somewhere, and sleep in the back of the car. It's cowardly.

In case I ever have a nice day, something has to come fix the balance. Lisa called, and we had a nice veiled conversation about how I was going to get fired because nearly ten people over the course of my working there have complained. So, my blood pressure was 163/70 today. I find that I am freaking the hell out. I'm so scared and nervous, because I've NEVER been that high.
Except when I was on the crazy pills.
