I get married today!!!!

Big D and I saw the venue today, met with our wedding people, and got our marriage license. The excitement is beginning to feature more prominently than the stress.

I also got to wear my "Bride to be" glittery tiara for the first time. It was cute!

Big D has been out of town for a week, and I miss him a ridiculous amount.

I'm 38 years old, for crying out loud, I shouldn't be acting like a moony teenager with her first boyfriend.

Wedding is three months away.  Moving is four and a half-ish months away.  Starting to realize how much I have to do and how little time I actually have to do it.  It's mostly my night shift schedule that is mucking things up.  Trying to get more done in the mornings when I get home, but I'm usually so tired by then, plus it's hard to do stuff ( Read more... )

2015 was very good to me, and I am looking forward to 2016 in so many ways.  I don't remember the last time I was so excited about starting a new year!

Wedding plans are kicking into high gear, and going well. 

I haven't been updating this often.  I think it might be because I'm finally feeling like I'm the person I'm supposed to be. One of the very first woodworking projects I did was make a little bird nest shelter supposedly designed specifically to attract robins.  I put it at the corner of the garage, and it's been empty ever since.  Well, except for the wasps that started building a nest in it last year.   After so many years, I was excited to see it FINALLY being used ( Read more... )

So today has been an interesting day.  Got home and started working on the garden for this year.  I didn't do anything in the garden at all last year, and I really missed it.
