Despite really honestly not wanting to go to school, I think I may not have a choice in the matter.  My first class is about 9 hours away.  Blah.  It really shouldn't be that bad.  Really.  I have Sculpture and Life Drawing on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  I have Painting III on Wednesdays and Fridays.  I have Cosmos (I'm in group B!  Which means it's ( Read more... )

What do you know?! I'm in group B(est) as well! Do you find it odd at all that we've been receiving a lot of cryptic emails about this class? Statements like "I will discuss the syllabus during the first lecture period...", which was already assumed, or just a statement like "If you received this email, it indicates you belong to Group B. I will explain the details in class." That second one specifically. It makes it sound like everything is on a need-to-know basis, which in turn makes us sound like spies. Good thing you are reading up on James Bond for tips, though to be fair I don't think either of us is really fit to seduce all the important info out of the lady-types.

Yes, I noticed that. Weird emails. One would assume that we'll be discussing in class the finer points of how class (particularly group designations) will work. Either you're right that we're being recruited as spies or else the professor just thinks we're all dumb. I like your theory best. If we team up then neither of us has to be good at seducing lady-types. You can distract them with seduction attempts, at least, while I sneak around and get them in a head-lock. Also, you might be telepathis, and that would make things cake.
