So a customer asked for my number on Friday. Am I being unreasonable to think that introducing oneself before asking a girl for her phone number is common courtesy? When only one out of five takes the time/ makes the effort to introduce himself first... something's wrong. -

So Wednesdays are usually the only day of the week that I open the store I work at. Today was no exception.... until I reached the mall parking lot and discovered an exceptional amount of emergency vehicles all over the place. So Dungeons & Dragons Online is now free! Go play it. My brother and I have been looking for a free MMO to play together for years and we finally got our act together in time for DDO to become available for free download. I call shenanigans
I don't really have much to update, I'm just abusing my (totally funtional) computer. :)
Went camping last weekend with my folks. Most of it was fun. Some of it was utterly unpleasant. That part was fairly brief though. There was hiking, there was fresh mountain-y air, no one got eaten by bears, there were s'mores, none of the s'mores were ( Read more... ) -
The world at my fingertips... on a regular basis
My computer problems seem to be over for the time being. I tried a few long-shots this evening after work and lo and behold-- one of them worked! HP was no help. I'm glad that I don't have to call them again. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about XP, maybe it's just not going to happen. I might look into dual-booting Linux, if I can verify ( Read more... ) -

Believe it or not, I'm still around. I would love to be online more often, but I'm still working on getting my desktop computer to work. I've talked to HP tech support several times and, after running though all the should-be fixes that I'd already tried, they sent me recovery disks. Of easily offended partition tables
The epic battle of my new computer continues. For those new to the drama, basically things went to crap in my attempts to install XP to a separate partition. Then it stopped loading Vista.
