So a customer asked for my number on Friday.  Am I being unreasonable to think that introducing oneself before asking a girl for her phone number is common courtesy?  When only one out of five takes the time/ makes the effort to introduce himself first... something's wrong.

...yeah... people suck.

I'm by no means perfect, but I at least make sure to get someone's name from them before asking for a #. (to be clear, I made that distinction because I've known some people who get a friend to find a name then skip that step themselves which is almost as bad imo)

Wow, actually, I think getting a friend to get the name might actually be worse than just not asking at all. Of course, there's really no excuse for either. What's the world coming to? :(

It is almost like people are forgetting about the art of manliness.

....and on an unrelated note, I just got a chuckle when I noticed the avatars we used are both reading something... and from opposite sides of the frame.

Haaah, I totally noticed that about our avatars. Awesome points all around.

I don't know that introductions are so much a part of manliness as it is about general politeness. Boo on rude people.
