For anyone that missed the River Tam sessions when they were first put on the internet.  These started coming out in the summer/fall before Serenity opened.  Way cool.  I think they slipped under the radar of most people though, even a lot of browncoats.

huh. I've never seen these before. Thanks, I'm going to miss Serenity so much. And I also think that's Joss Whedon playing her doctor, at least it sounds like him.

It's my pleasure to spread the crazy!River joy and these sessions were unfortunately neglected. Thank heavens for the internet. It really might be Joss... I'd never thought of it before, but that would be cool. I'm still bitter that there's not more of the show to watch. Or sequels to the movie. Or anything. :(

tell me about it. I'm so depressed, Serenity was probably one of my favorite movies of the past two years. Good thing, Joss is doing the new Buffy comic and is doing the Wonder Woman movie.

Yeah, I'm kind of psyched to see what he does with Wonder Woman. I think he was trying to get Moreena Baccharin (sp?) cast for the title role, but it didn't work out. Drat. Unfortunately I don't really follow any comics on account of being a poor art student. ^^' Alas.

Can I watch this now or do I wait until I finish the series + movie?

Hmm. Technically/chronologically they take place before the series... but I would recommend watching them after the series and before the movie. I think things will be the most meaningful that way.
