I got a Roomba vacuum a few weeks ago, and I love it. Unfortunately, the Roomba I brought home was a spaz, and we're awaiting our (free) replacement from their customer service department (and we get to keep the old one for parts- not too shabby!). Today, though, I dragged out the regular vacuum, only to discover that it's gone on strike. Crazy ( Read more... )

Who could forget the Get Along Gang? I used to have the little plastic figurines and played with them all the time. I was like 5.

I think I used to have some of the little plastic guys, too. I really remember a book that I had, though. They were entering a race or something like that...

The odd thing is, I remembered them for a really long time and what they looked like, but for the life of me, I could not recall the name of the critters that lived in the boxcar clubhouse and there was a moose and a sheep and a dog and all that. I was racking my brain over it one evening sitting on the couch, and it hit me like lightning. Dave must've thought I was nuts, 'cause I jumped up and shrieked, "THE GET ALONG GANG!" Teehee.

By the way, your new carpet = 7239827398% improvement from that pink stuff. =)

Get Along Gang was awesome. Also, they should not have redesigned Strawberry Shortcake!

Haha thank you kindly about the carpet. :D

Holy crap, the Get Along Gang. God, how I hated them when I was a kid, but I'll forever associate them with the time I was in the hospital for 2 weeks, when I was in 4th grade. Still, at least the Popples were precious!
