Happy Birthday....
Today would have been Mam's birthday. It's weird because I still have the iCalendar reminder to tell me and it was already on our 2010 calendar when she passed away. Jon and I watched "Food Inc." last night and it was probably the most impactful movie I have seen since "Schindler's List" (which if you know me moved me A LOT!). My wonderful mom got me this movie on DVD and I'm watching it now... As I lay in bed, half drugged up on Robitussin and DayQuil. This movie really makes me realize that I need to make the most of my talents and dreams and do something besides mope around the house being unemployed. Perhaps I should create a blog challenge for myself???

Mam passed this morning at 4:45 am. The cancer won this time. Please keep my whole family in prayers. We need strength.

Despite the lack of updates on my part, I just wanted to let everyone (anyone who still reads this???) know that I am still alive and am well. I PROMISE that I'll make time sometime in the near future to do a real update on everything that's going on in my life. Granted, it will probably be a long entry, but whatever... it's my journal! -
