Long time no update. But of course now I'm doing my finals, so an update is necessary for procrastination purposes.

Those who follow me on twitter already know this, but I had a lot of roommate drama, and so I moved a couple weeks ago. I'm still in the same apartment complex run by the university, but it's a different apartment and a new roommate ( Read more... )

Roommate drama sucks. Glad you found a better living situation and roommate!

Best wishes with the grading, proctoring, paper, grant proposal, and translation! That's a lot but you have a good bit of time.

I have... 2 more days of science teacher conference, then Sunday and Monday I'll be scrambling to finish 2 papers. One of which is mostly done and one of which is only started. Also want to apply to a gazillion more teaching jobs before the year's end.

It was getting ridiculous that the only thing stressing me out here was my living situation. Only my work should do that! :P Just wish I had made the move sooner.

Thanks. :D I made sure to get ahead of stuff this year (for once), so it's not that bad. Honestly the grading is the worst; I hate grading undergrad papers, especially when I have to give poor grades to so many of them.

You can do it! *cheers* Where all are you applying for teaching jobs?

Yay! I hate giving bad grades too... well hated, i haven't done it in a year and a half.

Uwahhh, you have a lot to do! It's lucky you're ahead. Also that you can multitask, I've found I can only really write one big paper at a time.

The only problem with my multitasking is that I never quite finish anything until the last minute. I keep switching gears thinking I'll finish something completely, and then I hit a roadblock and work on something else. -_- But it does seem like I'll finish two of the three tomorrow, so that works for me!
