In addition to my father running his tests, I also noticed how very, VERY odd it is for me not to have some form of sound playing in the background. No music, no TV on, no nothing. Music's more because I don't want to risk running anything while Dad's running his tests and I'm not 100% sure where my iPod is since my room's a disaster area. @__@

If you have WMP version 10 or 11 (whatever is the new one), get rid of it. Roll back to a previous one and then reinstall / update your sound drivers on your computer. If that doesn't work, lemme know.
