Still home.  Still nursing my foot.  Been home now about a month.  Reading one book after the other.  Going for physical therapy 3 times a week.  My leg is weak.  Going back to the Othopedic at the end of next month.  Still not working.  Getting bored slightly.  Mom's ribs are getting a bit better, but she's still not out of the woods yet.  She ( Read more... )

Am still home recuperating from my accident.  Going a bit nuts here doing nothing but resting.  I'm use to running around, not sitting still.  Oh well.  More doc visits tomorrow.  MRI this time.

Isn't this testing fate or what?  First my mom is home after coming back from the hospital with broken ribs when she fell at work.  Now me.  I had a car run me over this morning at work.  It's swollen real bad and I can't put no pressure on it.  I am heading to the doctor in two hours to check my foot.  Where I work, I had out newspapers.  I was ( Read more... )

Well.  This comes in a bad time.  Close to New Year's and my birthday.  My mother fell at work, fracturing her ribs.  She was rushed to NYU hospital to the ER.  She will be in bed most of the time with us family helping her move around and help her as much as we can.  The doctor gave her this breathing tube to exercises her lungs.  If she doesn't, ( Read more... )

Had my interview. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. Maybe something will come out of it. Would be nice to have a better job that's actually INDOORS for a change. Sigh. This is my 3rd year working outside. Don't want to think of the cold coming up. In the meantime. I keep pounding the concrete.
