I got the official word back from Indian U, that I will not be considered for grad school w/o my GRE scores, which are not too them yet, so I will not be eligible for fellowships or scholarships as the deadline has past

Huggles, hun. I really was looking forward to your moving a lot closer...
but, you are eligible for other loans...and have access to those funds...so, really, go for the gusto and apply for 2nd round just the same!
