the more i think about it, the less i want to invest my emotions in relationships. relationships seem to always end up horrible and you end up regreting everything that you have shared and all the effort you gave. why dont people put that effort towards friendships? or family relations? i think its because you think it will always be there,

because there is a big difference between putting effort into a friend and putting effort into a boyfriend. we all have our wants and needs, and they all have to be fulfilled. friends, family relations, relationships... they all cant last forever, and they all can come with regrets. that is why you should never refrain from taking a chance. your heart will just keep on getting stronger and stronger. never neglect yourself from the things you want.

"i would say Slim's. it's a cool place, and there's usually a good crowd. dan says that the Pound is really easy to book shows at, but they have more of a punk/hardcore vibe. there's also Bottom of the Hill, but it's 21+ and pretty small. Gilman is definately a good place, it's in the east bay- it's probably easy to book, but they're a 'not-so-radio-friendly' type of place.
