It's probably an evolutionary thing, but I've never looked into it. Typically, the alpha female will sway the other women to matching her courses after a while. It probably has something to do with mating habits and survival of the species. :)

What causes women in the same household to eventually have their periods at the same time? Is there some evolutionary reason for this? Or some honrmal reason it happens? And why?

Someone a long time ago told me a theory that revolved around this and it made sense to me. The person has since proven to be a raving psycho, but hey. :)
