I'm so BURNT OUT. I just can't deal with stuff anymore. All I want to do is curl up into a little ball and sleep until this is over. Why does everything feel like the end of an era?

I'm learning pay less attention to examples...I'm more content and frankly more successful if I ignore the paradigms.

Oh goodness.

What sucks:

Bad Luck I'm not in a play this fall, despite rocking two callbacks.  Boo.

Nighttime Coughs I'm way too sick for my own good.  When I learned that a friend has strep (AH!!), I finally caved and made an appointment at Searle, but they won't see me until Friday.  Let's hope I still have a throat by that time.  Blarrrgh.

I just had my first Jump Rhythm class with Billy Ziegfield (the creator of Jump Rhythm!) today.   FANTASTIC.  He's so engaging...very sharp and funny and just so easygoing.  He loves what he does so much...it just radiates from him, and it makes you excited too.  Since this is a more advanced class, he threw us right into it, with handhits and ( Read more... )

The more I research this whole puppet thing, the more my interests change and shift.  I used to think that being a Muppeteer would be the best thing ever, especially after reading histories of the Muppet's early days.  However, with the Muppets now owned by Disney and many of the original puppeteers dead or retired and muppet look-alikes popping up ( Read more... )
