Curiously, I've known quite a few women (my sister, girlfriend, a few close friends) to end up in the ER because of a urinary tract infection. I honestly can't relate; I've never had one, or anything even remotely similar, but my heart goes out to you. I've seen the kind of stress and strain it can put on a person, and it's ridiculously unforgiving.
