Kallen can feel her anger, rising, reaching a peak. This was crazy. While having that memory played back in her mind was a bit much, Lelouch's answers were making her mad.
A fool? Who's the fool in this situation? Everything is reversed right now, turned inside out and upside down like a dropped pack of cards, the World, the Fool, the Hanged Man - he should know more than Kallen right now, but she has all the power of information here. He's been here for a month and she is speaking to him as if she knows (he knows some of the others from the same worlds had come from different points in their timeline, so maybe - ); she has been here for five minutes and already he does not know where he is. Everything is mixed around again.
"Kallen," he says, heedless of the question she'd asked him, "what.... what happened after the conference?"
Did he really want to hear that story? "A massacre. Thousands of Japanese people, dead." Her tone was serious but also unhappy about having to remember such a day.

"Princess Euphemia?" he hazarded. "At the... conference, with the..." He's trailing off; he can barely say it - "Special Zone of Japan?"
